Hon. Maria Puente-Porras Honored by Southeast District Bar Association

NAWJ member Judge Maria Puente-Porras was honored on April 23, 2022, as the Southeast District Bar Association (SEDBA) Judicial Officer of the Year. 

Judge Puente-Porras was also the keynote speaker at the April 11, 2022 Installation Dinner for the new board of the Women Lawyers of Long Beach.

Additionally, Judge Puente-Porras was a key part of the Los Angeles Superior Court Judicial Mentorship Program (co-chair of the Community Outreach Committee) which hosted a Judicial Mentor Workshop focused on inclusivity in the appointment process for people with disabilities on April 20, 2022.
